You have to look hard to notice the joins between the original leather and the replacement. New (aged) end papers. There is a water mark affecting part of the outer edge of the text block which is visible on the first 20 and last 40 or so pages, most conspicously on the title page.� The book is liberally annotated in sepia, in Latin, Greek and vernacular Italian, with notes dated up to the late 17th Century. Each book is examined and graded individually and with care, so expect all faults to be described on all but "acceptable" listings.
