Chapman and Hall Ltd, 1892. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1892. New Edition. 472 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Shaky binding due to cracked hinges, but all pages remain attached. Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Previous owner's inscription to half title page. Label to front pastedown. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Spine is moderately tanned, with noticeable crushing and slight splitting to ends. Gilt remains bright. Heavy rubbing and scuffing overall, with some noticeable marks also. Boards are slightly warped.
