About This Item
Portland, OR: Oregon Museum of Science & Industry, 1987. Soft cover. Near Fine. 3.75" x 9. Very Near Fine, though with local Gem Shop decal sticker on title page. Oregon Under Foot- Agate, Jasper, Opal, and Related Gems. Third Edition, 1994. Longitudinal (landscape) layout, I.E., 3.75" x 9". Glossy illustrated wraps, 60 pp. Fine, but for the decal sticker of a Newport, Oregon gem and mineral gallery (see scans) - something many collectors consider to be an asset in itself. A scholarly, short pamphlet-style assessment of the title subject, with better color photograph imagery than one might expect. This third edition - presumably updated from the 1987 second edition (first edition was in 1975, lo, those many years ago), appears to be quite scarce on the market. For the genre collector. See all scans. Ships in stout protection, of course. L7
