About the author

Graham Clarke trained in horticulture at the Royal Horticultural Society Garden, Wisley, and then spent a year working in the gardens at Buckingham Palace. He has been a gardening writer for over 25 years and is author of many popular GMC titles, including Success with Water-saving Gardens (2007) and a range other titles. He is a former editor of Horticulture Week, to which he still contributes as well as to Organic Life, Amateur Gardening and The Garden.
