In an era before electronic communication, books such as this provided a way for people to know more fully the events surrounding McKinley's death as well as his life and accomplishments. This is a very nice copy in original publisher's blue cloth decorated binding with elaborate gilt cover and spine decorations and a pictorial insert of McKinley on front. No significant faults (just a slightly rubbed area on rear cover). In all, a nice bright, clean, tight and unmarked book. ; B&W Photographs; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 466 pages .
