Our Native Land, Its Scenery & Associations, A Series of Water-Colour Sketches after Rowbotham, Read, Needham and other eminent artists, with descriptive notes. Marcus Ward 1879 first edition.

Contains 18 chromo-lithographed plates covering locations in the North of Ireland, Derbyshire and North Wales (see contents page photo) A less common edition than the 36 plate version.

Plates are all in sound condition, with just a little rippling to some. Boards have been cleaned, leading to some gilt loss, but remain quite attractive. Slight warp to front board. Some wear to board corners and spine edges. Spine a little dull, titles (presumably) with gilt loss.
