Boston: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, 1895. 341 pages. Hearn's second book on Japan. Binding is dull yellow cloth, with silver titling and spare silver decoration (some of which has worn off). Cover is toned; two previous owner's names on ffep. Interior is unblemished and hinges are still nice and tight. A nice copy overall.. 1st Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Dust Jacket, as Issued. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
