About This Item
Field & Tuer, [1885] 1885. 1st Edition. Softcover. VG/VG. CALDECOTT, Randolph. 11.4 x 14.7 cm soft cover uncut edges pp. (iv), 78, (6) adverts and 12 full page black and white images plus frontispiece with 6 illustrations within the text. The book comes with its original glassine dust jacket. The book is very good considering its age with a gift inscription dated November 1885 to the title page and occasional spotting to the pages. The delicate glassine jacket whilst very good is a little dusty and has a split running 11cm up the spine and 3.5 cm tear along the rear joint extending up from the foot of the spine. There is also minor loss to the spine tips. A relatively scarce Caldecott book with a scarce dust jacket. Rainford & Parris Books welcomes enquiries, so please do not hesitate to ask if you require further images or have any questions. All books are packaged with great care.
