Illustrated dust jacket with $3.00 price intact; book in gray cloth with white oyster illustration to front and white lettering down black cloth spine. Jacket shows a few tears at corners and at tail of spine, with some adjacent creasing at bottom back corner and some chipping at spine ends. Staining at top of jacket and front flap, mostly visible to interior, with just a bit of transfer to top front board and endpapers. Boards sturdy and solid with some rubbing at corners and nudging to spine ends. Topstain faded, with a small waterspot to top edge of textblock, just barely creeping into upper margins of a few pages internally. Binding is sound and pages unmarked.
