London: The Studio of Design & Illustration Supply Company no date (1900) 202, 100 humorous sketches with text on facing page depicting the lives and amusements of passengers on P&O ships returning to England from India, from on-board entertainments, the curiosities of Aden, Port Said, the Suez Canal, Ceylon etc, to romantic interludes. Decorated olive cloth, all edges gilt, some foxing to title page, loss to bottom left corner of 4 pages resulting from printing error. This copy with the signature of another famous humourist, Low, (David Low 1891-1963), wartime political cartoonist for the London Evening Standard, on the ffep.
