Includes some of his earliest work in the Purdue university paper "Debris" and stories, cartoons, and reporting from The Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Daily News, the Saturday Evening Post, Collier's, Cosmopolitan, as well as sketches from the Art Institute of Chicago.
