TItle page illustrated with nice b/w illustration. Lovely book with exquisite illustrations throughout. Pages good condition. Endpapers and foredges lightly yellowed. Dark blue cloth with beautiful gilt montage on upper cover and gilt titles. Spine shows some wear, lightly soiled. Edges, head/tail of spine and corners lightly worn and bumped. Nice copy. VG. 1st UK Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good.
