INSCRIBED BY KUNITZ TO DAVID IGNATOW (W/ FOUR LINES OF VERSE). Stanley Kunitz won the National Book Award for this collection; a nice association copy, inscribed by Kunitz, with four lines of verse, to poet David Ignatow.
From the library of poet David Ignatow; inscribed and signed by Stanley Kunitz, to David Ignatow, in year of publication, with four lines of verse: "For David, dear friend & comrade in arms- Stanley. December 1995" (on the title page), and with four lines of verse: "Who whispered, souls have shapes?/ So has the wind, I say./ But I don't know,/ I only feel things blow" (in ink holograph of Stanley Kunitz, beneath the publisher's imprint).
