The literary debut of "The American Agatha Christie" and the debut of Nurse Sarah Keate, who appeared in six subsequent novels. It served as the basis for a 1938 Warner Brothers film starring Patric Knowles and Ann Sheridan. Octavo. Original orange cloth binding, with red titles. Some minor shelfwear to the dust jacket; otherwise very good.
