Small tear to tail of spine and to dj in same spot. Top edge of dj wrinkled and lightly chipped.). Black boards with gold lettering. White dj with color illus. and yellow lettering on spine. 292 pp. with 124 illus. Master silver/goldsmith from the Regency period, commissioned to create lavish works for royal and other wealthy patrons but who also made more simple but beautiful works used and collected by others. With a list of illustrations, family history, maps of London, lovely bw images of his creations, and more.
