First edition of from "Pearl Harbor to Golgotha," signed twice by Commander Mitsuo Fuchida of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service, leader of the first wave of bomber and fighter plants to attack Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.. Octavo, 94pp. Red cloth, title stamped in black. No additional printings noted. Light toning to endpapers, otherwise a fine example. In the publisher's scarce dust jacket, bright illustrations, chipping along top edge, a very good example. This work is signed by the author on the dust jacket and front free endpaper. Commander Mitsuo Fuchida (1902-1976) led the first wave aerial assault on Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. His successful assault made him a national hero in Japan. He was wounded at the Battle of Midway and spent the rest of the war as a staff officer. After the war, he was forthcoming when interrogated by the United States army and was not put on trial for war crimes. Fuchida converted to Christianity in the 1950's and became an evangelist, traveling extensively in the United States and Europe.
