Minimal ex lib marks to e/p's and two lines of numbers on reverse of t/p otherwise very good+ . Frontis is a page from the notebook headed 'Emily Jane Bronte. Transcribed Feb 1844. Gondal Poems,' probably the MS. 'discovered' by Charlotte in the autumn of 1845, prevserved by the Rev Arthur B Nicholls long after the death of Emily and his wife Charlotte, and now in the British Museum. The first verse of this poem is quoted on p29.96 pp. CLEAN TIGHT AND BRIGHT.; 003128; Ex-Library Minimal Marks; 8vo .
