Detailing all manner of beautiful boats, including the 'Britannia', 'Sunbeam' and 'Victoria and Albert', as well as fishing boats, ice boards, rigs, herring boats, coasters and a gundalow. Written and illustrated by Robert Taylor Pritchett, an artists known for illustrating Darwin's 'The Voyage of the Beagle'. He travelled on numerous cruises, including aboard 'The Wanderer' and 'Sunbeam'.The first, and only, edition of this work.Illustrated with plates throughout the work. In the publisher's original quarter vellum binding. Externally generally smart; vellum spine is rather discoloured and a little bumped to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Good
