Hardcover with dustjacket, first printing as stated on copyright page, a clean, attractive copy with the following minor flaws: book has mild wear at the corners and spine-tips, the last page has a crease at the top corner, this copy has been married to a third U.S. printing (1947) dustjacket, the jacket has the same artwork as the first printing but the original price on the flap is 2.50 as opposed to 2.00 on the original, the dark green background color on the spine has been sunned to olive, one short edge-tear and an associated short crease at the top of the front panel, mild wear at the corners, it's quite presentable overall and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included .
