Frontis: b/w photograph George Santayana from a Harvard University class photograph, 1886. Book has rubbed spine ends, lightly scuffed corners. Book is tight and square. 254 pp. plus Index. Unclipped, unpriced DJ has book summary that begins on rear panel, continues on front flap and ends on rear flap. Top edge has chipping with loss of material, rear panel is missing a 2 1/2" X 3" piece from bottom. Bookseller's Inventory # 154588.
