Description:
Oklahoma City, Ok: Western Heritage Books, Inc., 1981. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. Volume itself has green cloth covers with sharp gilt lettering on the spine. 206 pages, including a bibliography, plus an index. Book is clean, fresh, tight and bright. Many years ago the author, at the request of this bookseller, signed the title page, just underneath his printed signature; not personalized to anyone. On the half title page, the book is signed by Philip L. Phillips, believed to be the son of the subject of this work. Unfortunately, the author of this work, Dr. Billy M. Jones, passed away on October 27, 2007, in San Angelo, Texas. One of the Oklahoma Trackmaker series. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality cover. There is a touch of edgewear at some corners and edges. However, the dj looks very nice in its protective cover. A treasured piece of Oklahoma biography and history available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box.
