Having lived in Iowa, Illinois, and Ohio, much of his work is of the Midwest. However, he has photographed many other areas, including, US coasts, Canada, and Europe. His credits include award-winning photos in numerous competitions and his images have appeared in several calendars and various publications. Exhibits in art centers and libraries have displayed his work. He has been a photo instructor and judge.
