Everyone who was ever anyone was photographed by Leibovitz.or wanted to be. 232 pp. Orig. published in hardcover in 1991, this is the FIRST SOFTCOVER EDITION from 1991, a Third Printing. Huge folio (11" x 13") has bronze black wrappers with the iconic photo of John Lennon & Yoko Ono on front, lettering to spine & back. French flaps. Condition is Good+/VG-: some heavily rubbed/stained images to back cover & tiny white spots & one scrape to front cover. Wrappers are separating from text block, which is completely tight & secure; looks like front hinge was reglued & there is some paper loss where glue stuck to inside front cover-half title page. Interior is exceptionally clean & bright & unmarked EXCEPT for page 55, which has damage to fore edge & some paint(?) splotches, rubbed area in gutter. Moderate edgewear & rubbing to extremities, heavier at all corners & both ends of spine. A classic in , binding strong & straight, hinges secure, pages lightly tanned around edges.
