The Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vermont is one of the country's most diverse museums of paintings, folk art, quilts and textiles, and New England history. Electra Havemeyer Webb was a pioneering collector of American folk art and founded Shelburne Museum in 1947. She was the daughter of Henry Osborne Havemeyer and Louisine Elder Havemeyer, who also collected art.
