Tissue guarded frontispiece which is a portrait of Geronimo. There are nine other photographs in the work that are also tissue guarded protecting the illustrations and all are in place with no tears or other damage. Pages are clean and bright. No underlining, no highlighting, no bookplates, no owner names, not ex-libris, no folded or dogeared pages, no smudges. The cloth covers are red or maroon and have gilt lettering on the spine. "The Lakeside Press" at the bottom of the spine has a touch of wear on the L & a in Lakeside, although both are readable. The border on the front cover and the Lakeside Press emblem are clear and sharp. The top edge gold gilt is very clean and bright and the outer edges are deckled.
