Printed for Thomas Kelly,, 1837. 3 parts in one vol., 8vo., with copper-engraved frontispiece, portrait and 7 plates, and fine folding engraved map COLOURED BY HAND, most plates mildly browned (more heavily at margins), map crisp and clean; attractively bound in full contemporary tree calf, boards framed in blind, back with raised bands tooled in gilt, second compartment with leather label ruled and lettered in gilt, all other compartments tooled in blind, red sprinkled edges, a bright, crisp copy in wholly unrestored period binding. With 2pp publisher's advertisement at end. Kelly commissioned the engravings expressly for his edition which retains the author's Apology. The explanatory notes are by Mason; the evangelical reflections are selected from Newton, Bradford, Hawker and others.
