Original full red leather over boards with raised bands and gilt lettering and decoration. Front cover has an inlay of a piece of oak taken from Elstow Church before it was restored in 1880. All edges gilt. Hinges firm inside. No foxing. Leather is split most of the way along front edge of spine. Previous owner's name. Some toning along edges of endpapers. Scarce. This book will be sent insured due to its scarcity, so expect a request for extra postage. 383 pp. including Index..
