Book Condition: Very Good; light shelfwear to board edges; light dust soiling to top edges. DJ: Good; light wear to head, tail, tips, fold edges, and spine edges. Red grained boards and spine with gray lettering on the spine and front board. 265 pp 8vo. The author's grand parents were married and set up a home in Red River Valley of NE Texas in 1833, her father was married in 1875, and she was born in 1882. Written in a very folksy manner, the author covers history and events she heard about from early settlers and or events and people she knew of and about in her lifetime. A very good look back at the history of the Red River Valley as seen through the eyes of an early pioneer. A clean very presentable copy.
