The author's grand parents were married and set up a home in Red River Valley of NE Texas in 1833, her father was married in 1875, and she was born in 1882. Written in a very folksy manner, the author covers history and events she heard about from early settlers and or events and people she knew of and about in her lifetime. A very good look back at the history of the Red River Valley as seen through the eyes of an early pioneer. A clean very presentable copy.
