Blind stamped border rules (2) on the head and tail margins of the front board. Black and white frontis piece of 4 Jesuits; Brébeuf, Jogues, Lalemant and Ragueneau. First published in 1893, ths is a reprint of the revised edition of 1912. Five page introduction by Thomas O'Hagan. Two page isting of "Authorities Consulted for this Work" at the back. Minor wear to the spine tips and the fore corners of the boards and the spine is faded or sunned. Previous owner's name on the front free end paper. Otherwise the interior is clean and the binding is sound. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted. .
