A year after Clonar, an alien boy who had survived a spaceship crash on Earth, had been rescued by his people and returned to his home planet, his human friend Ron Barron receives an interstellar communication inviting his family to join Clonar on his planet. Unknown to Ron and his family, the invitation is violently opposed by others of Clonar's race, who see their visit as necessitating the destruction of Earth. Endpaper designs by Alex Schomburg.
