Philadelphia: John C. Winston Company. Very Good- in Very Good- dust jacket. 1953. First Edition. Hardcover. 211 p. 22 cm. Sound binding in lime green cloth-covered boards with red, stamped spine titles. Spine slightly cocked. Small stains on the upper board, more visible in certain light. Small area of foxing in the front hinge. Corners have some wear with top front two lightly bumped. Text block edges lightly tanned and a bit dirty. Both inside hinges have slight darkening, more so to rear hinge. The inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dustjacket has heavy wear to the spine ends, wear to the corners and light wear along the edges. Spine is slightly faded. The flap folds are rubbed and have some creasing and tiny tears. Rubbed. Price clipped. A title in the Winston Science Fiction series for juvenile readers. Jacket and endpapers designed by Alex Schomburg. .
