London: The Camden Society, 1839. 1st edition. Hardcover. ,Larger 8vo,,Bound in original green cloth; blocked in blind and gilt,...Henry VII. and Henry VIII. Binding and spine show sl. bumping to tips, light rubbing to extremities, and light scuffing to cloth. Foxing to preliminary and final pages. Endpapers slightly stained. Binding tight. Overall, in very good condition. First published in 1839 by the Society, and now a very scarce title, having recently been reprinted in facsimile by AMS Press, but very difficult to find in the original edition. pp. cxxxviii, 312. Publication no. iv (as noted in pencil). Elegant bookplate on front pastedown.
