The Macmillan Company. New York 1930. Reprint of an edition originally published in 1929. 8vo. 902pp in total. Finely bound in early half dark green crushed morocco. The spine has three raised bands, each with gilt decoration. Compartments lettered and double ruled, with the largest panel rules decorated to the inner corners, all in gilt. Marbled paper on boards. Top edge gilt. Marbled endpapers. A lovely copy in an attractive leather binding. The binding is unsigned but is certainly the work of a master bookbinder.
