Toronto: William Briggs, 1905. Cloth. Very good. Special autograph issue for the Canadian Club of Toronto. Copy no. 142. 354 p. 20 cm. Green cloth hardcover with gold impressing. Signed by author across from title. Dampstains to upper corners approx. pp. 207-290 and 309 to rear. Small nick at top of spine and tiny dent in rear board, corners a bit bumped. Tear at top of front free endpaper.

Canadian poet Wilfred Campbell is often classed as one of the country's Confederation Poets, a group that included fellow Canadians Charles G.D. Roberts, Bliss Carman, Archibald Lampman, and Duncan Campbell Scott. By the end of the 19th century, he was considered the unofficial poet laureate of Canada, and this collection contains patriotic verses such as "To the Canadian Patriot," "England," "Canada," etc.
