Thomas Y. Crowell. Good. 1887. Hardcover. 520 pages. Illustrated. Cream cloth binding, gilt edges, blind stamped with gilt lettering - decorative cover; beveled spine edges. Black and white frontispiece of blackbirds. Various poems - poems of Love, Doom, Love and Childhood, Poems Written on the Deaths of Three Children, Songs of Seven, A Wedding Song, etc. Binding is good excepting for a few pages in the front which are very slightly loose. The author, Jean Ingelow (1820 -1897) , was a British poet and novelist .
