About This Item
These 140 year old volumes are in Near Fine condition and seem never to have been opened or read. The hinge is very tight and there are no internal markings. The forefront of pages are brilliantly, edge-gilded. Woodworth was a well-known and loved 19th century Massachusetts writer, essayist, literary journalist and poet. He was read and appreciated for his highly sentimental poetry and love for his rural New England roots, exemplified in his most famous poem, "The Old Oaken Bucket." Priced to sell!
All proceeds benefit The Friends of the San Anselmo Library. No expedited shipping outside of the United States.
