Written by Thomas Moore, an Irish writer, poet, and lyricist celebrated for his Irish Melodies. With illustrations from Birket Foster, D. Maclise, F. R. Pickersgill, Edward Duncan, Jasper Cropsey, Harrion Weir, and more. Bound by Hayday. Bound in full re morocco with gilt. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities. Fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. A crack to the front joint. Front hinge starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Contemporary ink inscription and embossed stamp to the front endpaper. Good
