About This Item

Hart-Davis, MacGibbon Ltd, 1973. 1st Edition. Hardcover. NF/VG. STEADMAN, Ralph. 1st English Language trade edition, 16 x 24cm brown boards with gilt stamped tables to the spine, map endpapers 1287pp with black and white illustrations by Ralph Steadman and original unclipped jacket priced at �2.75 net. The boards have been well protected by the jacket and are clean and bright with just a hint of rubbing to the bottom edge. Internally clean unmarked pages noting just a book plate for historian Hugh Brogan on the verso of the front free endpaper. The jacket has a little fading to the spine which extend onto the rear panel for a couple of centimetres and for a little on the top edge. There is a little light creasing along the top edge and a ding on the front panel near t`he spine. All in all a very collectable copy.
