About This Item

George Barrie & Son, 1896. Hardcover. Very Good. Very good blue cloth hardcover with pasted on label to spine and gilt top page edges shows light rubbing and fading to spine label, soiling and bit of rubbing to covers, soil at end papers and page edges, name stamps at various places, along with some other light trace wear. 512 partially uncut pages translated by George Burnham Ives and illustrated with four etchings. Still a solid copy of this edition of the classic works now for the first time completely translated into English.
