About This Item
Thames and Hudson, 1966. 1st UK Edition. Hardcover. VG++/VG-. 1st UK Edition. 14.8 x 21.5 cm orange cloth with gilt stamped publisher's device to the front and titles to the spine, 216pp with 18 colour and 175 black and white illustrations. The book is in its original unclipped dust jacket priced at 35s. Clean boards with a little shelf wear and rubbing to the spine tips, corners, and most noticeably the bottom edges. Internally clean, without name, inscription or bookplate. There is rubbing and corner creasing to one page - the result of a production fault that means that it sticks out. The dust jacket, which is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown), has a little rubbing to the edges with a touch of surface abrasion, most noticeably on the rear joint where there are a couple of 0.5cm patches where the laminated surface has lifted. All in all a good looking copy. Rainford & Parris Books welcomes enquiries, so please do not hesitate to ask if you require further images or have any questions. All books are packaged with great care.
