A detailed handbook for the management of fisheries, with chapters on fish food, weeds and the economy of fishing, the artificial incubation of ova, rearing, hatcheries, and more. Written by Francis Francis, an English writer on angling. Publisher's catalogue to the rear. In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and rubbing to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd mark to the boards. Small splits in the cloth to the head of the spine. Hinges failed with textblock held by one cord only, may detach with further handling. Generally firmly bound with the odd page loosening. Pages are very bright with the odd handling mark. Previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown. Good Only
