Revised edition of the standard work published in 1946. 448pp with index, illustrated throughout with black and white diagrams, drawings and photographs, and 8 pages of colour plates. Gilt lettering to spine. Edges slightly darkened and marked and light foxing to endpapers, otherwise very good copy with no inscriptions. Unclipped DJ has slight marking and edgewear, otherwise good. Book will weigh over 1kg packaged, so extra postage will be required for 1st class or overseas shipping..
