GOOD* Jacket condition: No dust jacket (maybe as issued). ND* Contents condition: PRIVATE COPY NOT EX-LIBRARY. Coloured end papers (cream). All edges, bright gilt. Inscription and dated (1848) dedication to ffep. Clean, crisp, tight and bright with only minor reading wear, no marks to text, slight marks to end-papers & prelims, otherwise no visible faults. VG+.* Illustrations: A single tissue-guarded b/w portrait plate by S.
