Wynkoop (name and date crossed out but date seems to be 1785), David Knapp (1799), Stephen Eno (Feb. 6 1817), and Jonathan Holdeen (S 17 1936), slight foxing, Good. Wynkoop may be the John C. who lived in Kinderhood and Kingston, N.Y. from 1761-1796. David Knapp may have been the member of the New York state assembly from Putnam County. Stephen Eno practiced law in Pine Plains, N.Y. and was a prominent lawyer in Duchess County. Jonathan Holdeen (1881-1967), who resided in Pine Plains and had an office in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., was the eccentric, penny-pinching, millionaire lawyer who set up 2.8 million dollars in trusts to make Pennsylvania a tax-free state (an idea inspired by Benjamin Franklin).
