First Edition.. Near Fine/very good-. Privately published. History of Presidio La Bahia in South Texas. Research for the book began in earnest in the 1960's when the restoration of the presidio began. The author, who is from a prominent local ranching family and a serious historian, was instrumental in the restoration. Book has a faint stain on the front cover, otherwise the corners are square, the pages are clean and unmarked and it's nearly unread. The dust jacket has a stain on the front cover and is chipped and with shelf wear all around, listed a very good -.
