The dust wrapper is bright with some surface scratching and some slight toning to the edges. It has not been price clipped and shows the original £5.95 net price. The boards are tight and free from chips and marks. The text blocks are bright and white throughout. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is near fine overall. Story of murder/suicide of playwright Joe Orton and his lover, Ken Halliwell. When Orton, after years of unsuccessful collaboration with Halliwell, breaks away and achieves fame and fortune on his own, Halliwell cracks, hammers Orton to death and then kills himself.
