First published in 1847 and revised by Tennyson in many successive editions. 1884 was also the year that Gilbert & Sullivan produced their satire on this "medley" in Princess Ida. Both poem and operetta mock feminism. Stock#OB957. Vg, bound in full tree leather, rebacked saving the original gold-tooled spine.
