The type face is Romancée, designed by J. Van Krimpen for Joh. Enschedé en Zonen. The illustrations are by Victor A. Seward. Mallette Dean engraved on wood the pressmark which appears on the final page, and he also engraved the decoration of the hand, which is based on a fifteenth-century woodcut.Condition: Red textured cloth with gold gilt blind stamp decoration on front and rear boards and text to spine.
