Octavo, pp. [1-8] 1-506 [507-508: ads] + undated 8-page publisher's catalogue inserted at rear, original decorated olive-green cloth, front panel stamped in gold and black, spine panel stamped in gold. Both free endpapers browning, a little browning along page edges, a bright, unfaded and unmarked near fine (or better) copy.
