Description

New York: Grossman Publishers, 1970. 176 pp. Pale mustard yellow cloth boards with yellow and white lettering on the spine. No signs of visible wear to the boards besides very minimal scuffing to the bottom edges. Unclipped mustard yellow dust jacket with white lettering. Jacket has no major chips or tears, just minor wear to the extremities and light scuffing to the back. Tight binding. Text block is square with a few faded smudges to the bottom edge and fore-edge; top edge painted slate blue. Tiny smudge on the half-title page, otherwise pages are clean, bright, and unmarked. From the dust jacket: "Displaying a startling sense of the humorous as well as the macabre, Bernard Kaplan in this wildly imaginative collection of stories has deftly created a curious and awesome assortment of struggling, blustering, lonely, funny, wild people.". The business is run by Richard Chalfin.
